Hello,
I'm Megan!

I’m married to Lewis we tied the knot in 2022 at the beautiful Norfolk Mead Hotel and have been together since May 2017. We’re proud parents to Nellie Pearl (4) and Aubrey Bear (2), plus our furry friends, Monty the cat and Dollie the dog. We live in the beautiful city of Norwich, Norfolk. I offer all my services from my studio in Old Catton, but I can also travel or work with you online.

Most days, you’ll find me cleaning, being "Mum" to two wild little ones, juggling a million tasks, chasing toys off the pup and looking like I’ve been dragged through a bush backwards...pretty standard for a mum right?

! I love reading
self-help books, listening to podcasts, and, of course, working! My friends always say, “You’re always working,” and honestly, I am but that’s because I truly love what I do. It never feels like work because I just love it and still feel super grateful that this is my job!

I’m always
learning and growing through courses, and I’ve recently completed a herbalism course and a mindset course with the amazing Emma Armstrong (The Naked Doula) and Carmen Rocha, focused on the mind and birth. I’m also qualified in reflexology, which i offer in my Norwich studio to both new and existing clients. For me, learning and educating is my form of self-care.

As a mum, it’s hard to slow down and take a break. I’ve always loved living life at a fast pace but I’m also a big advocate for the importance of self-care and taking time to recharge so you can be the best mum possible. I experienced postnatal depression with both of my babies, so I understand firsthand the importance of slowing down and finding joy in the little things and this is why I started the postnatal relaxation evenings "mums night off" as its a chance to focus on you and your mental health and its specially created by a mummy for mummies!

I enjoy getting out in nature, and my favorite spot is Blickling Hall! If you don’t have a National Trust membership, I highly recommend getting one...it’s amazing. I also love hitting the gym or indulging in a luxurious bath, complete with bath bombs, shaving, exfoliating, and moisturising, followed by a cup of tea and a biscuit (of course!).

I've been in the world of the NHS since 2015, and throughout the years, I’ve worn many hats. I started as a clinical healthcare assistant, gaining hands-on experience working directly with patients on the wards. From there, I transitioned into a project worker role, where I focused on improving systems and processes within the hospital. Now, I’m a trainer, where I get to do what I truly love doing...teaching! Whether it's guiding staff through new systems or helping them build their skills, I’m passionate about empowering others and sharing knowledge. Teaching has always been at the heart of everything I do, and I’m all about creating an environment where learning thrives!

For two years, I worked as a photographer, capturing countless special moments, but I always felt like something was missing. It wasn’t until I started doing maternity shoots that everything clicked. The real joy came from connecting with expectant mums, having heartfelt conversations, and listening to their unique birth stories. It was in those moments that I realised where my true passion lies and its supporting pregnant women and being a part of their birthing journey. That’s when I knew I needed to fully immerse myself in the world of pregnancy, birth, and help mums during this transformative time.

Cue my journey with The Little Birthing Company! After an intense and rewarding training experience, all while balancing the demands of mum life, I proudly became a
certified hypnobirthing teacher and it’s hands down the best decision I’ve ever made. Hypnobirthing played a huge role in both of my pregnancies, and I truly believe it was the key to having two incredibly positive and empowering birth experiences.

Now, I get to share the same techniques and mindset that helped me, with other mums, guiding them to embrace calm, confidence, and control in their own birthing journeys.

(my birth stories linked below).

I am completely obsessed with all things hypnobirthing. Every day I am learning and educating myself to educate you. I constantly have butterflies in my belly when discussing hypnobirthing, I was born to be a hypnobirthing teacher spreading good vibes and helping people on their birthing adventures!

I’m passionate about offering a modern, honest approach to the childbirth journey, creating a warm and inviting space in my cozy, boho-inspired studio for open conversations, where we can address your concerns and dive deeper into the entire experience. With me, you’re not just getting a hypnobirthing course and then left to figure things out on your own...I’m here for you from the moment you book, right through to the postnatal period. I believe having a baby truly takes a village, and you’ll never have to navigate this journey alone. My goal is to provide continuous support, guidance, and a safe space for you to feel empowered every step of the way.
